Terms of Service

These terms apply to the CashLens: Expense Tracker app for iPhone and iPad ("CashLens", "the app"), made by independent developer Rushiraj Jadeja. By downloading or using CashLens you agree to these terms.

License

CashLens is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices that you own or control.

The Service

CashLens is a private, on-device expense tracker: expenses, budgets, bills, subscriptions, and insights, stored locally on your device. The app requires no account and operates no servers.

Purchases

  • CashLens Pro unlocks additional features and is available as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
  • Where offered, unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase.
  • All payments are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Optional tips ("Support the App") are one-time, non-refundable purchases that unlock no features.

Your Data and Responsibility

All app data is stored locally on your device. There is no cloud backup operated by CashLens. You are responsible for exporting or backing up your data (for example before switching devices or deleting the app). Deleting the app permanently removes its local data.

Not Financial Advice

CashLens provides tools for recording and visualizing your own spending. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, and to comply with applicable laws and Apple's App Store terms when using it.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

CashLens is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including data loss — please keep exports of important data.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
